Welcome to ZEN Broadcast

ZEN BROADCAST- Both a BAFTA nominated and BAFTA winning team, who work on the largest scale broadcast productions both nationally and internationally. We offer not only ‘Home Grown’ talent but have access to, and excellent relationship’s with, some of the most experienced broadcast sound supervisors, recording engineers and sound crews the UK has to offer.

With over sixty years combined experience and knowledge of both the music and broadcast industries, Zen Broadcast is really all you need. We are a “ONE CALL, FORGET ALL” solution.

No Matter how complex your production, we take the worry away allowing your production company and staff to focus on other aspects of the show, safe in the knowledge that the audio element is in good hands. Our Broadcast facility can cope easily with extremely high track count projects. We regularly manage complex shows and have the experience of working with Internationally renowned artists and producers.

We are equipped to take a project from ‘Concept’, through ‘Pre’ and more crucially into ‘Post Production’ (a crucially missed link these days). Ultimately everything is looked after all the way to your final broadcast. Our aim is to go above and beyond to get the job done no matter what the circumstance. We regularly deliver both live and recorded high end programmes for ITV, BBC and Sky so technical spec delivery is our bread and butter.

"From shows like 'The Voice', 'The Royal Variety Performance' to recordings of artists such as One Direction,
Dame Shirley Bassey, Brian May, Jamie Cullum, Ennio Morricone and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,
Composition and Music Programming, Vocal Tuning and Pro Tools Training
- Zen Broadcast provides a World class recording and production service that can suit every need"

ZEN WORKFLOW- At Zen Broadcast we offer true flexibility. Whether it’s a small scale carry in project or a full scale hire of our ‘state of the art’ music recording mobile, the attention to detail is second to none.

After extensive investment, Zen Broadcast’s mobile unit has recently undergone a full refit. The refurbished facility not only offers full recording/mixing facilities as you’d expect, but has been redesigned to fill a gap in the market. Having worked for so many years, across so many genres, in a variety of facilities, we have been able to draw on our experience and fine tune this mobile studio to be exactly what is required in today’s ever expanding and demanding market.

The Zen Broadcast mobile has been reengineered into three separate, sound isolated, areas. A recording and tape specific room with comms, a highly spec’d dubbing suite offering stereo and 5.1 mix capability on Protools HDX. Having a dubbing and remix room separate from the main mixing room means shows can be turned around and remixed quickly when needed. The main mix/record room can be used with or without a grams area, making it extremely versatile in todays demanding music and tv markets. Both Mix and dubbing rooms feature a very highly specified acoustic design which complement a Barefoot surround speaker system that any studio would be proud of.

Ultimately we offer the client something that no other OB supplier is capable of: three studios in one. Each one can work independently, but when combined, give Zen Broadcast a vehicle that is capable of asynchronously mixing and recording over 500 channels of audio and video
